Clare Footballers Urged Not To Become Complacent Following League Success

A member of Colm Collins backroom team says they must be wary not to be complacent in the wake of their Allianz National Football League Division Three success.

Clare edged out Kildare in the Croke Park decider by a single point, with Eoin Clearys injury time free clinching the win.

The focus now turns to the Munster Championship Quarter Final against Limerick at the end of May, and Miltown's David O'Brien says they have to get it right on that day.

Meanwhile Clare fans can help make captain Gary Brennan the GAA.ie Player of the Week.

The Clondegad man has been nominated for the honour after leading the Banner to victory and claiming the Man of the Match Award.

Votes can be cast on the GAA's Facebook and Twitter pages, with voting closing at 10am this morning.
