Clare have been beaten by Galway in their first match of this year’s All Ireland Under 16 Championship.
Clare led 1-7 to 1-4 at half-time in today’s game in Feakle, with Aoibheann Malone scoring the Clare goal.

Galway fought back in the second half though and ended up as winners by two points.
The final score was Clare 2-10 Galway 2-12.
