Valerie Shannon of Lahinch Golf Club and Valerie Hassett of Ennis will both be in action at the Irish Senior Women’s Open Stroke play Championships next week.
The action at Layton & Bettystown golf club gets underway next Wednesday, and runs until Friday.
Shannon and Hassett will take on 64 other competitors in the competition, which will see the field compete in two 18 hole rounds on the opening two days.

If successful, they’ll then tee off as part of the top 40 golfers in one final round which will decide the overall winner
