The Clare senior hurling and football sides face into two diifficult away ties this weekend when they take on Carlow and Longford respectivly in the National league
Ger O Loughlin’s hurlers are the visitors to Dr Cullen Park to take on a Carlow side who beat the second placed side in the division Wexford last week by 4 points.
Michael Mc Dermott and his football side also face the prospect of a difficult trip to Longford when they take on one of the other sides challenging for a promotion spot.

Both managers have declined to name their starting 15’s for the respective clashes with O Loughlin waiting on the fitness of a number of his side while Michael Mc Dermott is to wait until Saturday to decide on his team
