Clare ladies board thanks Comyn for service following resignation

The Clare ladies football  county executive has thanked Noelle Comyn for her 100% effort with the Clare senior ladies squad and has wished her all the best.

The former Dublin footballer stepped down on Saturday evening citing issues in relation to preparing for championship as the reason behind her departure.

Her reign lasted less than six months but in that space of time she secured Clare’s place in division two of the league before the semi final loss to Galway last month.

Clare chairman Alan Copley has confirmed to Clare FM that the board are due to meet this evening to discuss the matter.
