Clare look forward to Munster Minor Football Semi Final

The manager of the Clare minor footballers is expecting a battle for spots on the starting 15 ahead of the Munster Semi Final.

The Banner booked their spot in the last four with a 2-11 to 0-5 win over Limerick, and now travel to Thurles in two weeks time to face Tipperary.

Kieran Kelleher made five changes to his team after the opening round defeat to Kerry, with one of those, Miltown's Sean Malone, helping himself to 1-3.

Kelleher says he felt the changes were needed

 

 

Clare also suffered three injuries in last nights game, with Pierce Lillis, Sean O'Donoghue and Paraic McNamara all having to be replaced.

Those injuries are set to be assessed today.

Clare captain Keelan Sexton finished with a personal tally of 0-5.

The Kilmurry Ibrickane man says their workrate was crucial.
