Clare lost to Cork today in their opeing game in this year’s Munster football championship by 1-23 to 0-11.
Clare trailed at half time by 1-9 to 0-04 with Donncha O Connor netting the rebels goal after 22 minutes.
The visitors grabbed the opeing three points of the second half but Cork’s midfield dominance proved crucial and they ran out 15 point winenrs with Clare finishing the game with 14 men-Graham kelly sent off in the dying stages.
