Clare manager admits side need more training

Clare hurling manager Ger O Loughlin has admitted his side need much more work on the training field to improve their performances for the rest of their national hurling league campaign.

Clare emerged from Casement Park for the second year running with a one point win yesterday  having been reduced to 14 men with James Mc inerney’s red card on 53  minutes.

The squad have been training mostly on the track at Lees Road in Ennis and O Loughlin admits
its affected their performances:

The win sees Clare sit in second last position in the Division Two table on points difference with Donal O Grady’s Liemrick side in pole position after their home win over Westmeath on saturday.

Speaking to Clare Fm’s Syl O Connor the Clarecastle man admitted that the 2 points  were needed to boost confidence
