The Clare team for tonight’s game has been announced and shows two changes from that which started the three point win over Limerick last month.
Both come in the forwards where Adrian Murrihy, who netted against LImerick is replaced by Doora-Barefield’s Jarlath Colleran while Joey Rouine comes in at corner forward in place of Darragh Bolton.
The team in full is as follows:
Clondegad’s Conor Gavin will captain Clare in the game – he’s been named at corner-back in a full back line along with Jamie Malone of Corofin and, Oisin Vaughan of Ennistymon, ahead of Kilmurry/Ibrickane’s Darren Sexton in goal.
Kilmihil’s Stan Lineen, Darragh McDonagh of Milltown Malbay and Craig O’brien of Wolfe Tones are the half backs, with Alan O’Neill of Doora-barefield and Conor Cleary of Miltown in midfield.
Fellow Miltown man Eoin Cleary is half forward, along with Ennistymon’s Ciaran Devitt and Doora-Barefield’s Jarlath Colleran, while Kilmurry Ibrickane’s Niall Hickey starts at full-forward alongside Joey Rouine of Ennistymon and Kilmiihil’s Martin O’Leary.
