Eleanor Walshs side lost out to Limerick by 2-7 to 1-7, with a brace of third quarter goals proving crucial for the Shannonsiders.
Limerick led 0-6 to 0-2 at half time, with Aisling Cooney’s goal after the restart giving Clare hope.

Those two goals in the same period for Limerick saw them take a 2-7 to 1-5 lead at the final water break, which proved a bridge too far for Clare to cross.
