Clare are into the All Ireland Hurling Final, after a fantastic victory over Limerick.
The Banner were the more composed team in the first half at Croke Park, with clinical finishing helping to a seven-point lead.
They were also assisted by a somewhat fortunate goal, when a long ball dropped into the box by Conor Ryan was bundled over the line by Darach Honan.
At the break, it stood 1-10 to 0-06.
Shane Dowling helped keep Limerick in touch in the second half, after assuming free-taking duties, but Colin Ryan, Tony Kelly and others ensured the Clare half of the scoreboard stayed ticking over as well.
A strong Clare defence limited Limerick’s chances, and the game finished 1-22 to 0-18 in favour of Davy Fitzgerald’s side.
Clare will play Cork, with Liam McCarthy at stake, at Croke Park on September 8th.
