Clare have secured their place in Division Two of the National Ladies Football League for 2016 after a 5-15 to 3-8 win over Down.
The Banner flew out of the blocks, with goals from Grainne Nolan and Laurie Ryan inside the opening ten minutes setting the tone, and John Burkes side led 2-7 to 1-2 at the break.

Another goal from Nolan after the restart along with an Orla Devitt strike were answered by two goals from the Northern outfit, but Clare were always in control, and Nolan completed her hat trick with time almost up.
Their final game comes against Kildare next weekend
