Clare Selector Says Senior Hurlers Eager To Get 2016 Back On Track

A member of the Clare Senior Hurling backroom team feels the squad are eager to get back hurling as they look to get 2016 back on track.

The Banner will face Laois on Saturday in Cusack Park in the first round of the All Ireland Hurling Qualifiers.

Selector Louis Mulqueen says it's the perfect chance to get that Waterford defeat out of their system.

Throw in on Saturday evening in Cusack Park is at 7pm

Elsewhere,

Limerick have set up a meeting with Tipperary in the Bord Gais Energy Munster under 21 semi final.

That follows the Shannonsiders 3-19 to 2-15 win over Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn.

Tonight the Limerick minors are in Munster semi final action when they take on Waterford in Walsh park at 7.30

In the Connacht minor football Championship Roscommon host Galway in Kiltoom while Leitrim meet Mayo in Carrick on Shannon.
