Clare Senior Hurling Championship Triple Header

There is a triple header of action in the Clare Senior Hurling Championship this afternoon.

Cusack Park plays hosts to three of the 2015 Quarter Finals, with the action getting underway in the next hour.

Getting the days proceedings underway is the meeting of Crusheen and Clooney/Quin.

Crusheen are looking to go one step further than last year when they were beaten in the final by Cratloe, boss John Carmody says he feels it been a benefit to have full access to county players.

Clooney/Quin meanwhile are playing their first game in a month, having overcome Newmarket in Round Two.

Manager Ger O'Halloran feels this could work against them.

Throw in for that one is at 2pm.

At 4pm, Kilmaley and Ballyea face off once more, with these sides having met previously in Round Two.

It was Ballyea who came out on top that day to follow up on their opening round win over champions Cratloe.

Manager Robbie Hogan says he's hopeful experienced stars such as 2013 Hurler of the Year Tony Kelly can lead their path to the semi final.

Kilmaley will be without county U21 captain Conor Cleary as he continues his recovery from a fractured ankle sustained in their win over Inagh/Kilnamona.

Manager PJ Kennedy says side will need to work hard if they're to progress.

Completing this evenings triple header is the meeting of Newmarket and Clonlara from 6pm.
