Three Semi-final spots are secured in the Clare Senior Football Championship with the final place to be decided after a series of playoff games.
Lissycasey were the first winners of the weekend, beating Kilmihil 1-14 to 2-7, after that St Breckan’s overcame Ennistymon with only three points between them at 0-11 to 0-8.
The final spot from the winner’s group went to Kilmurry Ibrickane as they beat Éire Óg 3-6 to 0-10; three teams from the loser’s group will compete for the last spot in the semi-finals.
St Joseph’s Miltown Malbay fill one spot as they beat Doonbeg 2-11 to 0-11, manager Maurice Reidy says they have to keep their focus through the knockout format.
Cooraclare secured their spot in the playoffs when they beat Kilrush 2-15 to 1-14, the final playoff spot will go to the eventual winner of the postponed match between Cratloe and Clondegad.
