Clare will open the defense of their Munster u21 hurling title title in a semi final against Limerick next Summer follwiing the draw held last night.
John Minogues have been drawn in repeat of the Opening game of the 2008 championship which Clare won at Cusack Park by 4-22 to 2-13.
Last year’s beaten finalists Waterford meet Cork in a q-final with Tipperary awaiting the winners in the last 4.
In the Munster U21 footbal champiosnhip Clare will also face near neighbours Limerick in the first round.
In the minor hurling championship,
Clare will meet Waterford in their opening game where a win would see them set up a meeting with Cork or Tipperary in the semi final.
In the football Championship Clare will face Cork in the first round.
In senior competition Clare will meet Waterford I,.T in the opening round of the the Waterford Crystal cup while in the Mc Grath Cup Clare will face another college side as they have been paired with Ucc in the q-final.
