Clare U-21’s in action this evening

Clare’s U-21 Hurlers will look to lift the spirits of the GAA Community in Clare when they host Limerick in a Munster Championship Semi-final this evening.

A side featuring 9 of last year’s beaten Munster Finalists take to the field in Cusack Park at 7:30 in a game you can hear live on Clare FM.

Clare are slight favourite for the game but Team Manager John Minogue says there are no guarantees at this level.

We’ll begin coverage at 7. It’s brought to you by Mannix Lower Market Street Ennis in Conjunction with Oakley and Hack and Jones.

John Minogue is hopeful the game will make up for the recent downturn in Clare’s fortunes.

The Search is on for Clare’s new football manager but he isn’t expected to be appointed until September.

County Board Chairman Michael O’Neill told Clare FM at last night’s Monthly meeting in Carron that the new management set up will have to go back to basics to build on the work done by Frank Doherty and Co.
