The Magpies are now guaranteed to be safe from the relegation battle, after contesting the playoff for the drop last year.

Dolan says it's a huge relief to get over the line.

Tulla will now enter the losers round for a final chance to get back into the race for the Canon.

The action continues this evening with four more games down for decision.

The first of those come at 4pm in Shannon where Inagh/Kilnamona face Clooney/Quin, while at 5pm in Scariff, Whitegate meet O'Callaghans Mills.

Whitegate boss Mike Ryan says they'll need to deliver a huge performance to advance.

The focus then switches to an intruiging double header at Cusack Park this evening.

It's a 5.30pm start as 2014 champions Cratloe take on Feakle, while at 7pm defending champions Sixmilebridge renew rivalries with Crusheen.

Bridge boss John O'Meara says it's vital to get the championship season off on the right foot.
