Clare’s Barry Cotter has signed for Airtricity League side Shamrock Rovers.
The Ennis native makes the move back to Ireland having spent time with Ipswich Town under Mick McCarthy’s tenure, but left the club last March.
He began his senior career with Limerick FC before going on represent Ireland at U-19 level.

The defender joins the Hoops with immediate effect, and could feature for the Dublin side in their trip to Finn Harps this weekend.
