Clonlara have booked their place in the county hurling final after they overcame Newmarket on Fergus by 1-14 to 1-9.
Clonlara led at half time despite being reduced to 14 men after centre forward John Barry was sent off for two yellow cards.

Newmarket rallied at the start of the second half and scored three points in 2 minutes but Clonlara fought back to open a three point gap before Donal Madden struck for a goal in the 41st minute.
Clonlara then added scores from Nicky O’Connell and Cormac O’Donovan but endured anxious final 45 minutes after Enda Kelly goaled for Newmarket in the 56th minutes to reduce the gap to 5 points.
