Club Championship Action This Weekend

A number of players who secured Munster success with Clare on Wednesday night will be back in club action this Bank Holiday weekend.

Action takes place across all four days of the long weekend, and in both the Senior and Intermediate Championships.

The pick of tomorrow's action is a double header at Cusack Park, starting off with the Senior B Meeting of St. Joseph's Doora/Barefield and O'Callaghans Mills, where the East Clare side will look to make it two wins from two.

That's at 5:30, while at 7:00, Cratloe meet Sixmilebridge knowing a win will guarantee that both they and Crusheen will take the top spots in Group 3.

It's back to the Park then on Sunday afternoon where Wolfe Tones and Eire Og both go in search of their second win the B competition at 1:00, before Ballyea take on Clooney-Quin at 2:30.

Both of these teams lost their opening round encounters.

This weekend also sees plenty of Intermediate Championship action, starting tonight when Cratloe meet Ogonnelloe in Tulla.

Tomorrow, Smith O'Briens play Meelick in Clonlara, Eire Og is the venue for Corofin versus Newmarket while Clarecastle and Killanena square off in Crusheen.

Then on Sunday, Feakle play Parteen in Sixmilebridge, before Crusheen take on the Bridge in Tulla on Bank Holiday Monday.
