The Clare Minor Hurling manager has expressed disappointment with the change in format of this year’s Munster Minor Hurling Championship.
Owing to COVID-19, the championship is now a straight knockout set rather than the round robin format of previous years.
Clare had their season ended by Cork yesterday when they lost 1-24 to 2-13 at Semple Stadium in Thurles.

Brian Coffey repeated remarks that the knockout format is detrimental to the growth of the minor hurlers.
