Collins Brought Belief To Clare Football – Tubridy

The longest serving member of the Clare senior football panel feels the belief instilled by manager Colm Collins over the last eight seasons is a key factor in their progression.

Since taking the reins of the squad in 2014, Collins have overseen their rise from Division Four of the National League, with the Banner now just 70 minutes away from a place in the top tier.

They’ll face Mayo in Cusack Park in two weeks time in a promotion playoff, after securing second spot in this year’s Division Two South.

Doonbeg’s David Tubridy, who made his senior debut in 2007, says Collins deserves huge credit for guiding their fortunes.
