Clare's Under-21 hurlers have been dealt an injury blow ahead of their All-Ireland semi-final.

Cleary had started for the Banner in each of their four Championship games to date.

Meanwhile, following on from this weekend's Championship action, the draw for the Quarter-Finals and the relegation playoff will be made this evening.

Eight clubs remain in the hunt for the Canon Hamilton, namely Ballyea, Clarecastle, Clonlara, Cratloe, Crusheen, Eire Og, Newmarket on Fergus and O'Callaghans Mills.

Meanwhile, this weekend also saw action in the Senior Camogie Championship, with wins for Newmarket on Fergus, Clooney-Quin, Inagh/Kilnamona and Kilmaley.
