Gaa President Christy Cooney has responded to claims made by former Clare hurler Seamus Durack that club managers are being paid for their services.
The head of the association is determined that the practice be stamped out and belives it is hypocritical for managers to be paid in an amateur orgainisation.
The former Clare goalkeeper made his claims at the Munster club awards night held at the start of the month that as many as 30 club managers in the county were being paid up to 150euro per training session.
