Cooper The Class Of Leopardstown Once More

Bryan Cooper's stunning end to 2014 continued today as he secured another win on the final day of the Christmas Festival at Leopardstown.

The Gigginstown House jockey rode Don Poli to victory in the Grade One Topaz Novice Chase.

In the other Grade One race of the afternoon, Hurricane Fly narrowly beat Jezki to win the Ryanair Hurdle.

The Ruby Walsh mount brings to 21 the number of Grade One victories for the Willie Mullins-trained horse.

At Limerick, Martello Tower was first past the post in the feature, the Cliona's Foundation Novice Hurdle.

The last won there was won by no. 4 Merry Westerner 9/2.  Derek O'Connor of Tubber was due to partner Thats Nice in that one, but the horse was a non-runner.
