Clare’s Minor side have been beaten in the Munster Minor Hurling Final this afternoon.
Four goals – two from Evan Sheehan, one from Barry Murphy and a late one from Robert Downey – helped the Rebels to an easy win, the final score in Semple Stadium was 4-21 to 16 points.
A late consolation goal attempt from Tiernan Agnew, who scored eight of the Banner’s points, was blocked by Cork’s Ger Collins.

Killian McDermott and Cian Minogue scored two points each, while Riain Considine, Diarmuid Ryan, Aidan McCarthy and Keith White were also on the Clare score sheet.
