Corofin and St Breckan’s proud despite defeats

 Despite their All Ireland defeat to Four roads yesterday Corofin are already looking forward to 2011.

The Clare and Munster champions lost out to the Roscommon  side in Ballinasloe by 1-9 to 0-06.

Manager Ollie O loughlin told Clare Fm yesterday’s defeat won’t marr their year of unrivalled success :

The game marked the end of a historic year for the club after claiming the county title in September  and then folwing it up with Munster success over Cappaquin in October

Edel Keating told Clare Fm the loss has made them more determined ahead of next seaon:

St Breckan’s also suffered defeta in their Munster final as they succembed to Gneeveguila by 1-11 to 0-07.

The game proved a step too far for the Clare side who can look forward to senior football again in 2011.
