Coughlan 50/50 To Win Race To Fitness Ahead Of Kerry Clash

Clare boss Colm Collins is sweating on the fitness of Enda Coughlan ahead of Sunday's Munster Football Semi Final against Kerry.

The Kilmurry Ibrickane man is rated as 50/50 as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Coolmeen's Cathal O'Connor is fit after overcoming a hand injury sustained in the win over Limerick.

The team will be named after training tonight.

The Banner make the trip to Fitzgerald Stadium hoping to cause an upset against their neighbours, but Collins says while they respect the Kingdom's tradition, it won't be a factor on Sunday.

Meanwhile Kerry manager Eamon Fitzmaurice will also name his team tonight, but will be without the likes of James O'Donoghue and Johnny Buckley.

Clare pushed the Kingdom close when they met at this stage in 2014, and Fitzmaurice says they will have to be on guard to prevent getting turned over in their own back yard.

Throw in at Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney on Sunday is at 3.30pm, live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Flan O'Neill Building Supplies and Tool Hire Shannon.
