Clare County Council says its working to resolve the closure of a pitch at the Leeds road facilities in Ennis.
Sports clubs across the county have expressed their disappointment at the closure which has forced a number of teams which use the facilities for weekly matches to seek pitches elsewhere.
The council is currently undertaking remedial works but no time frame has been given as to when they may reopen.
