Countdown On To Clare SHC Semi Finals

Cratloe’s Sean Collins insists they are driven to bring more silverware back to the club as they prepare for this weekends Clare Senior Hurling Semi Final.

The south east Clare men are enjoying another successful dual season as they are at the business end of both championships and are just one more step away from reaching two finals for the second time since 2014.

Standing in their way this weekend are last years intermediate champions Kilmaley who are looking to bridge a 14 year gap since they last marched behind the band.

Collins says they need to focus on producing another top class performance if they’re to advance

Meanwhile one of O’Callaghans Mills youngest stars is hopeful they can continue a strong run of form.

Victory over Clooney/Quin saw the Mills into the semi final for the first time since 1997 where former Munster champions Ballyea stand between them and the decider.

County star Gary Cooney says they can only focus on one step at a time.
