Countdown on to Clare SFC Final

Ahead of tomorrow's County Senior Football Final, Eire Óg's Stephen Hickey has praised the influence of manager James Hanrahan on the squad.

The former Clare goalkeeper is on his second stint in charge of the Townies, having been part of the managment during the mid noughties.

He came back to the club in 2012, and Hickey says he made his mark immediately.

Meanwhile Cratloe's Sean Collins believes that the intercounty experience gained in 2014 will be beneficial to the defending champions.

Both Sean and brother Podge were part of the Clare football squad that gained promotion in 2014, and went all the way to Round 4 of the Qualifiers.

Collins believes this experience will be an advantage to the defending champions.

Throw in on Sunday is at 3.30pm in Cusack Park, full live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Top Part Ennis and Shannon and Top Bike Ennis.
