The 2021 Clare ladies football championship is scheduled to get underway on Sunday September 19th.
Six teams will compete in the senior ranks, with Banner Ladies looking to defend the crown they regained last year.
The opening round will see the champions go up against West Clare Gaels in a repeat of last years decider, with the game set to be played in Cross.
2020 intermediate champions Kilmurry Ibrickane begin life in the top tier against 2019 senior champions Kilmihil, while Cooraclare and Doora Barefield meet in a repeat of the 2018 intermediate final.
This years championship will be played on a round robin basis, with the top four teams going through to the semi finals.
Speaking at this week’s launch of the club championships, chairman of Clare LGFA Sean Lenihan says everyone is looking forward to the season getting underway.
