Countdown underway for Clare Limerick Clash

The countdown is on for Clare and Limerick ahead of this Saturday’s National hurling league final in Cusack Park with both sides hoping to escape the second tier on Saturday evening in Cusack Park.

Clare are appearing in their second league final in a row having lost out on promotion last year to Wexford while Limerick will be looking to bounce straight back up to division one after relegation in 2010.

Clare boss Ger O’Loughlin told Clare Fm his side are determined to make up for last year’s loss in Thurles:

Limerick Boss Donal O Grady has led his side unbeaten through the league campaign and beat Clare heavily in the opening game for the year in Ennis and he is hoping his side will silence the critics on Saturday:

Clare FM will have full live coverage of Clare v Limerick in the National Hurling League Division 2 Final, brought to you in association with The Cloister Bar and Restaurant, Abbey street Ennis.

Meanwhile,

Anthony Daly is hoping to capture his first piece of silverware as Dublin manager when his side meet Kilkenny in the Division one final on Sunday.

It’s the Dub’s first appearance in a decider in 65 years  and the Clarecastle man hopes his side aren’t overawed by the occasion
