A Clare senior footballer believes something will have to be changed to protect player welfare after matches while COVID-19 guidelines remain in place.
The Banner exited the Munster Senior Football championship last weekend, with current guidelines meaning they could not shower in Thurles after the game – instead having to drive back to Clare.
Kilfenora club man Cian O Dea was a part of the side who made the journey to Semple Stadium at the weekend.

He says the GAA will have to look at the current rules ahead of next year’s league and championship campaigns.
