Cratloe Aims to Repay Those Who Helped Them to Success

One of the Cratloe footballers looking to complete an historic double of Clare Senior Hurling and Football titles says the players are determined to repay the men who helped get them there.

Joe McGrath led his hurlers to a second ever county title last weekend, and now Colm Collins and his charges are going in search of a second consecutive Jack Daly.

McGrath, a native of Toomevara and Collins, who's originally from Kilmihil, have been involved with the current squads from underage level, and 2013 hurling All-Star Conor Ryan says the success is down to them.

The manager of the Corofin side preparing for their Intermediate Final replay says their performance the first day out proves they don't fear the opposition.

Corofin will clash with Wolfe Tones once more, after a late free for the Shannon side saw their initial meeting end in stalemate.

Manager James Murrihy is hopeful the experience will be of benefit this weekend.
