Cratloe and Eire Óg gear up for Clare SFC Final clash

Ahead of Sunday's county senior football final, Cratloe manager Colm Collins says its a great time for the club.

They're looking to become the first club since Ennis Dalcassians in 1929 to complete a double of Senior Hurling and Football titles in the same year.

Cratloe are also the defending champions after winning their first ever Jack Daly in 2013, and Collins says its the culmination of a lot of hard work in the club.

Eire Óg manager James Hanrahan meanwhile says he doesn't believe either side are favourites heading into Sundays clash.

The Townies are going in search of a first title since 2006, and it's their first appearance in the decider since they were dethroned by Lissycasey in 2007.

Throw in on Sunday is at 3.30pm in Cusack Park, full live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Top Part Ennis and Shannon and Top Bike Ennis.

The curtain raiser on Sunday is the Junior A Final meeting of Naomh Eoin and Coolmeen, while tomorrow sees Wolfe Tones take on Corofin in the intermediate football final replay.

That one underway in Miltown at 1.30pm.
