Cratloe And Ballyea Looking Forward To Clare SHC Final

Ballyea’s Tony Kelly feels they’ve been rewarded for a strong work ethic this season as they look forward to the Clare Senior Hurling Final.

The 2016 Munster champions are back into a second decider in the last three years after victory over O’Callaghans Mills in their last four tie.

Cratloe await in two weeks time in what will be the first time these sides march together behind the band.

Kelly says everyone has put their shoulder to the wheel to get them back to this stage again.

Meanwhile one of Cratloe’s rising stars says they’re looking forward to being part of another huge occasion.

The south east Clare men are continuing their crusade for another double sweep as they will also contest next weekends football semi final.

Diarmuid Ryan, Rian Considine and Billy Connors have established themselves as regulars on the starting 15 as the trio prepare for a first ever appearance in Clare hurling’s biggest day.

Ryan says it’s a dream come true.
