They led at half time by 0-9 to 0-2, Conor McGrath with 0-4 of that total, Sean Collins with 0-2, while Cathal McInerney, Gearoid Considine and Liam Markham all got on the scoresheet.

Both Crusheens points came from Paddy Vaughan frees.

Vaughan added two more points early in the second half which Cratloe answered through McGrath and McInerney.

Three unanswered points followed from the Cratloe men, with David and Podge Collins scoring while Conor McGrath took his personal tally to 0-6.

Colin and Paddy Vaughan had the final scores of the game for Crusheen, but it mattered none as Cratloe claimed just their second ever Clare SHC title on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-6.

Captain Liam Markham paid tribute to all those who supported the team throughout the year

They now go on to play Ballygunner of Waterford in the Munster Club Hurling Quarter Final.

That game will be played in Waterford on the weekend of October 26th.

Next for the Cratloe club though is the Clare SFC Final next Sunday against Eire Óg when they could complete a historic double.
