Cratloe And Kilmurry-Ibrickane To Fight It Out For Jack Daly Cup

Cratloe and Kilmurry-Ibrickane take to the Cusack Park turf this evening with the Clare Senior Football Championship up for grabs.

The West Clare side come into the game looking for a third senior football title in five seasons.

Aiden ‘Horse’ Maloney’s side fell at the final hurdle in 2019 – but avenged that defeat to St Joseph’s Milltown Malbay in the first round this year.

Maloney says he’s pleased with his side’s campaign to get to the decider.

Cratloe, meanwhile, make their first county final appearance since their 2014 success.

It’s been a strange year for the Blues, who have taken the long route to the final – a first-round defeat to Lissycasey meaning they’ve had to overcome Clondegad, St Joseph’s Milltown Malbay and St Breckans to get here.

Boss Colm Collins is hopeful a blend of youth and experience will prove the edge for his side.

Throw in for that one is at 4.30 this afternoon – we’ll have full live commentary here in Clare FM, with all our football coverage this weekend coming in association with Ennis Home Furniture, Quinn Road Business Park, Ennis.
