Crowds of 5,000 people could be set to attend each day of the 2021 Galway Races Festival.
A post on the Festival’s social media accounts this afternoon stated that Festival organisers have been working with Horse Racing Ireland and the Government to host the crowds outdoors.
It says the move is not yet confirmed but that work is continuing in the background.
