Crusheen get 2015 Clare SHC off to a winning start

Crusheen are the first side to book their spot in the second round of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship.

They beat Inagh/Kilnamona by 3-18 to 0-15 in a one sided encounter, with goals from Conor O'Donnell, Cian Dillon and an own goal by the combo.

Manager John Carmody said he was pleased with his sides performance

The action continues this afternoon with five games down for decision.

The first of those is at 1pm in Shannon as Clarecastle take on Clonara.

Two double headers this afternoon, with the first in Sixmilebridge.

Newmarket on Fergus take on Feakle from 2pm while at 3.30pm it's the turn of Kilmaley and Whitegate.

Defending champions Cratloe get their defence of the Canon underway in the Park this evening when they meet Ballyea at 6.30pm while at 4.45pm Sixmilebridge take on Eire Óg.
