Crusheen Lose Out To Kilmallock

Crusheen have been beaten by Kilmallock in this afternoon’s Quarter Final of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship

The match finished in a final score of 2-11 0-14

Crusheen had led by 0-7 to 0-5 at the break, but a quick fire series of scores for Kilmallock at the opening of the second half was crucial

The Limerick cahmpions scored 2-4 in five minutes and at one point led by seven points.

Crusheen fought back for remainder of the second half, and Joe meaney in particular came close to securing their much needed goal.

However it wasn’t to be for the Clare champions, who were defeated by three points

Meanwhile in news of camogie, Inagh have captured the intermediate shield this afternoon.

They beat Scariff in the sides’ clash in Shannon, running out winners in a final score of 2-13 to 0-2
