Clare will host Laois in the All Ireland Football and Hurling Qualifiers.

Fixture details will be confirmed by the GAA this afternoon, but a Cusack Park double header could be on the cards.

The same scenario arose in 2013, with the hurlers victorious en route to the All Ireland title, while the footballers loss brought an end to Mick O'Dwyers time in the Banner.

Former Clare hurling captain Tommy Guilfoyle is pleased with the draw

In the other hurling qualifier ties, Cork host Dublin, Limerick go to Westmeath while Offaly make the trip to Wexford.

Meanwhile the football draw will see Cooraclare native Mick Lillis bring the O'Moore men to Cusack Park.

The Midlanders beat Armagh in the previous round after being knocked out of the Leinster championship by Dublin.

Clare FM analyst Joe Garry feels it will be an even affair.

In the other 2A ties, Derry host the losers of Dublin and Meath, Leitrim go to Sligo and the losers of Tyrone and Cavan host Carlow.
