A double All Ireland winning Clare hurling captain says allowances must be made for players who feel they are burned out.
As preperations for the Allianz Leagues continue, the issue of player burnout has been raised, with fears being expressed that the demands on intercounty players have become too high.

Former Dublin manager Anthony Daly, who led to Clare to the All Ireland in 1995 & 1997, says managers must listen to players who feel burned out, and act accordingly.
