Clare's Senior Hurling Manager says he's confident for the squad's chances ahead of 2016.
Davy Fitzgerald's panel have resumed training ahead of the new season, and are now being coached and mentored by new faces including former Cork All-Star goalkeeper Donal Og Cusack.
In his first interview since Cusack's appointemnt, Fitzgerald has told Clare Fm's Morning Focus that he and Donal Og 'are on the same wavelength.'
The Sixmilebridge man hopes he can make a positive contribution, but says it's ultimately up to the players to perform.
Elsewhere, a major fundraising event for Clare's inter-county hurling squads, from Under-14 to senior, takes place on Monday December 28th.
The Race Night event will be held at Treacy's West County Hotel from 7:00, and speakers on the night include Donal Óg Cusack and also fellow former All-Star Eoin Kelly of Tipperary.
