Clare boss Davy Fitzgerald says the loss of Brendan Bugler to a red card was crucial in his side's loss to Wexford.
The Whitegate man was given his marching orders on 33 minutes for appearing to strike Wexford's Liam Óg McGovern, and then could only watch from the stands as Clare relinquished their All-Ireland title in a 2-25 to 2-22 loss after extra time.
