Details of Clare Down match to be announced later

The C.C.C.C will confirm the times and venues for the first round of football qualifiers to take place the weekend after next thias afternoon

Clare have been drawn at home to Down which means the county are the first ever to play the All Ireland champions and runners up in consecutive championship matches.

The game will be the first that Clare have played at home in the qualifers in three year’s and Clare manager Michael Mc Dermott told Clare Fm his side are looking forward to taking on the Mourne county men:

The feature tie is Louth against Meath in a repeat of last eyar’s Controversial Leinster final.

The other games  are  Wicklow  V  Sligo and Cavan meet Longford.

Laois face Tipperary, Antrim travel to Westmeath, London meet Fermanagh and Offaly clash with Monaghan.
