The Chairman of Clare GAA says it's hugely disappointing that fans are to miss out on a football and hurling double header against Laois.
It's following confirmation that The Banner's expected opponents and Armagh have been ordered to replay their first round footballer qualifier clash by the GAA's Central Competition Controls Committee.
Laois won by three points when they met last weekend, however it was discovered they used more than the permitted amount of substitutes during the victory, and a replay was confirmed last evening.
A double header with the O'Moore men had been in prospect at Cusack Park, but instead the hurlers will now have a standalone fixture on Saturday week, with a 7pm throw in.
Joe Cooney says it's tough on the players.
