Down hurling manager has insisted his side are travelling down to Clare to win and not avoid defeat this Sunday in the national hurling league.
The Ulster side narrowly lost to Limerick last week while Clare recorded a seven point win over Westmeath.
Down manger Gerard Monan told Clare fm that his side need to add consistency to their play and learn from the loss to Limerick:
[The Clare side for Sunday’s encounter is due to be named this evening after training.
It is understood the side will show a number of changes from the starting 15 which lined out against Westmeath last weekend in Mullingar.
